Choose Your Concealer Color Correctly.

A good concealer should come close to matching your skin tone to give the most natural coverage. At most, you should select a color that’s a shade lighter than your natural skin tone. In certain cases, you may want to use a color correcting concealer to camouflage specific areas. If you have scars to cover, go one shade deeper than your natural skin tone to give maximum coverage. There are also special concealers available to cover scars.

Apply Your Concealer Correctly.

Concealer is always applied before foundation. When applying a cream or stick concealer, use a clean finger to gently dab on the concealer using a patting motion. Avoid stretching or pulling on the skin. Once the concealer is in place, apply your foundation. Always follow up with a light application of Translucent powder.

To conceal dark under eye circles, after applying your eye cream, use a concealer with illuminating effect this will moisturize, cover and also brighten up the under-eye area. To neutralize dark circles with a green-ish tint, use concealer shades with pink undertones; as for blue or violet, use concealer that's yellow or peach toned.
